Refine your Markdown for email and Slack
Paste it here and copy it out formatted for where it's going. Bold, lists, links and tables come through. The asterisks and pipes don't. Your text stays in your browser.
Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail. Bold, lists, links and tables come through with no colours or backgrounds of their own, so the email looks like you typed it. Pick a font if Outlook pastes in Times New Roman.
Slack
Bold, italics, links, lists and code come through. Slack has no tables, so each row becomes a bullet, like “Landekode: NO”. Headings become bold lines.
Plain text
For SMS, forms and anything that strips formatting. The Markdown symbols go, the line breaks and numbering stay.
